Development and Construction
At Henninger Popp Real Estate & Development our goal is to positively impact the surrounding community. We target urban in-fill projects and bring lasting, desirable designs and structures to a neighborhood. So instead of tearing up a peaceful cornfield, we are going into an existing community and creating energy efficient homes for people near public transportation and shopping areas. We consider ourselves a green builder. What does that mean? Green communities are those that increase the home's efficiency in terms of energy, water and materials. Green communiities also reduce their impact on human health and the environment through careful choice of location, design, construction, maintenance and waste removal. The communities we desire to design and build are on under-utilized urban lands, which is less impactful on the environment than those built on outlying, environmentally sensitive areas. We also focus on making use of existing sewers, power lines, water pipes and roads rather than requiring the installation of new infrastructure.
